Groupe Français des Zéolithes

The French Zeolite Group

A non-profit association that promotes fundamental and applied research on zeolites and microporous solids.

A community since 1985

The creation of a “French Zeolite Group” was decided at a meeting held in Chantilly in 1985, under the patronage of the Catalysis and Physical Chemistry Division of the Société Chimique de France. The association’s statutes were filed in 1991.

Since then, the French zeolite community has met every year, all over France.

A word from the president

“Our annual meeting is an essential moment in the life of the GFZ. We must keep developing it and also work towards closer ties with other learned societies.”

Research is now global and we need to be visible beyond our borders: after the success of the first international edition of the meeting (Cabourg, 2018), this format is kept every three years, while preserving the friendly spirit of our gatherings.
